We regularly volunteer our time to support and advance The Whitsundays development and local sporting causes in Airlie Beach. Changing the face of sports in the Whitsundays
At Eclipse Financial Planning, two of our company directors are currently spearheading an 8 million dollar precinct redevelopment for Whitsunday Sportspark Ltd in Airlie Beach. As the only sports facility in Airlie Beach, it’s essential we do everything we can to help make the redevelopment a reality for junior and senior sports teams. Our aim is to upgrade the existing club into a multi-level, world-class sporting facility that will allow clubs from AFL, rugby, touch, soccer, netball and softball to play and grow.
We are currently facing challenges in our goal to renovate Whitsunday Sportspark. The lack of available land and money is hindering our progress; however, we have outlined plans to relocate the netball courts to Galbraith Park. We’re aiming to revamp ourselves as a contender to attract world-class sporting events and improve tourism in the Whitsundays and Airlie Beach region.
